What is AlarmBuds?

AlarmBuds is an alarm-sharing app. You can create alarms, connect with close friends using a buddy code, and share wake-up or overslept status messages.

How do I add a friend?

Open My Profile and share your buddy code with your friend. Your friend can enter that code from the Add Friend screen. You can also enter your friend's buddy code from the Add Friend screen.

How do I send a wake-up or overslept message?

After signing in and connecting with friends, open the Friends screen. You can send wake-up or overslept messages from your own card. You can also send emoji stamps from message screens.

Why does the alarm not ring?

Please check the following:

  • Alarm permissions are enabled for AlarmBuds.
  • Notification permissions are enabled for AlarmBuds.
  • The alarm is turned on in the alarm list.
  • The device volume and focus settings allow alarm or notification sounds.

Does AlarmBuds have paid features or subscriptions?

No. AlarmBuds does not currently offer paid features or subscriptions.

Does AlarmBuds show ads?

Yes. AlarmBuds may show ads using Google AdMob.

Account deletion

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly in the app.

  1. Open AlarmBuds.
  2. Open My Profile.
  3. Tap the gear icon.
  4. Select "Delete account and all data".
  5. Confirm the deletion by tapping "Erase now".

What data is deleted when I delete my account?

Deleting your account permanently deletes your AlarmBuds account and associated app data, including:

  • Firebase Authentication account
  • Firestore user profile data
  • Buddy code
  • Friend data
  • Messages
  • Uploaded profile images
  • Local app data stored on the device
This process cannot be reversed.

Once you delete your account and all data, the data cannot be restored.
